I'm going to study to be a information security in 1/2 year, need some help

Hi guys, im gonna study Information security at the university pretty soon, and i really want to be some prepared to what ill have to handle to be able to finish theese studies. What should i start studying now, like i know i need to study c#, perl, ect and prehaps some networking stuff. To be some what clear its a study to become a whitehat, a security penetration consul. And i really want to know what im heading into :P since i dont have so much knowledge about theese types of things, but my passion has grown alot the last year by testing some newb programs and technuiqes and such.

What i know i have to prepear for is

- Algorithms
- Program language
- Networking
- ??
- ??
Proxy servers / Hide ip program

Hi, I would like to know some more of proxy servers and some HideIP programs, and how they work. The reason i need this is beacuse of the increasing hunting afther private torrent downloaders/uploaders, and i have a ftp server that i would like to hideaway my ip, and make it untraceable. So anyone got a guide or care to teach me all this? Anonym proxy servers and such?

Anti Virus, False Alarm?

Whats up with the anti virus programs? I try to use C&A, ProRat And i get this. WARNING theese files is infected with Backdoor.Generic9.ALWW ? Are theese fales or something? Cause i dont want to upload a damn trojaner xD

Hi, I need some help, i have a java script in the html thats been compiled. But now i cant remember how to decompile it. Its really a friend who made a script, and he needed help to decompile it, since he lost the script. Thanks for helping

Hi, i just found my old slackware pc version 2,46 i think The problem iis, i �cant remember the stupid login name and password, and it wont boot my new linux os, since it hangs when i load the bios When i load linux, it says the bios check is ok though.

Anyone has an idea on how i can get into my pc?�
